21st I'm getting Old

If I'm being truthful it wasn't the best birthday ever but it was worth remembering!  Garrett took me to lunch at Mazzios my favorite restaurant and we got a calzone and salad bar oh and cinnamon sticks!  SO GOOD!

The video above is so funny garrett got embarrassed cause the waitress came up with our pizza : )  I love my hubby!

We then went to Party Magic and Garrett got me 21 baloons so we could take some pictures of me with them.  It was fun and we for sure got some good photos but at first we had the black backdrop set up outside and it was so windy the pole actually fell on Garretts head plus it was getting leaves and stuff all over it and we kept having to pick it up and dust it off... so we moved inside and then of course we had to figure out the lighting and at the end we decided that it was not easy taking pictures with balloons.

We then went to work with Dad for a couple hours our job went really smooth for as many people as there was. After that we went to Night Water at White Water it was very fun we didn't stay for to long but went down some rides and took some pictures!  We loved having our passes this year we went a TON!  Very relaxing!  After that we went through the drive through at Andy's and got a quart of Vanilla Custard!  It was a long but good day.

So at the moment it is a Wednesday Morning... Second day of being home and off work it is so weird to think that I have the option of what I can accomplish with my day. Being able to realize that it is all me who makes my life worth living for Christ's purpose for my breath.  Being lazy is way to easy for me!  Yesterday I got a lot done... I picked up our living room and it looks great now... I cleaned our kitchen including the stove top which needed to be done for pretty much forever...  I did a lot of laundry and even folded and hung a bunch up : ) And I made some yummy barbecue nachos for dinner.  I hope I can see a bigger vision for what the Lord wants from me.  I will be working today on a lot of photography stuff and hopefully getting a lot done.

Fall is soon to come!

I walked out this morning to find a cool day with a gentle breeze. I walked out today from lunch and found leaves slowly collecting on our front porch. I looked out our window tonight during dinner to find a beautiful tree in our front yard that was beginning to change for the fall.

It sure is amazing how God can craft such a beautiful life and trees that look so majestic. It reminds me that there is no excuses for nobody not to know our creator personally. He has presented his beauty all around us!

Arkadoo in August for Jack Jack Birthday!

We came down to visit Lori Donnie and Jack with mom and dad.  Just for the weekend... and for Jack Jacks very first Birthday.  We have just hung out ate pizza garretts working and we are just enjoying being here.  For Jacks Birthday we went to hot springs for Mexican food. 

It was so so SO CUTE!  All the servers brought Jack a hat and sang a birthday song for him... I was so amazed that he wasn't scared. He was enjoying it and just looking at them and smiling.  He's such a big boy!  And he ate pretty much that whole piece of birthday cake too!

Isn't he so precious! Can't believe he's already ONE!

New Office Space For VanderNet

Today I got a new location to for my desk space. We had two doors that were sitting and storage that where already painted white to go back into a home. So we measured the lengths of the doors and found that they would make a perfect L shaped desk.

We pulled the desks and brought them into the office and placed them on pre existing furniture that we already had in the office. After a couple of little adjustments the desk was perfect. There were a few minor defects in the paint which allowed you to see the ugly brown color underneath it. So we pulled out the interior white paint and touched up the doors.

Now it looks awesome and we are excited about the new look. Before you could always see our cables stringing everywhere but now they are nice and tucked away. We used where the door knobs would be placed to string our cables down below.

This picture is a more recent picture because we just added the White-board on the back wall for brain storming, tic tac toe, hangman, etc.

9 Months of being US!

today was indeed my very last day of work at Andys... it was weird to walk out and know I'm not going back at least for a while.  I'm excited about what is to come in the near future!

My hubby and I have been married 9 months today!  It's pretty exciting to be married I love it more than anything!  It's hard to believe so much has happened in just 9 months!   Garretts the greatest!  Tonight we had a date night and went to Rib Crib... The girl didn't want to seat us outside but our waiter was more than excited to have us be able to sit outside... so we did!

 It was fun! We were all by ourseves and our waiter was awesome!  Our food was great too. We got a sampler of loaded fries!  YUMMY!  I got a salid and garrett got nachos...(no nacho can compare to Dana's) After we ate we walked down by the water front on the landing it was beautiful and the boardwalk was cool compared to the heat of the upper part.  It was a great night with a great husband.

Today - 271

Today is my day before my last day at Andys... I'm excited to be able to focus on photography and other things that have got pushed to the back burner in the last 6 months of working there.  I have loved it it's been a great job!  But I'm so looking forward to having my three days back a week and also no 2am work nights! yay!

We just had our first pizza of the year with Awana Garrett and I will be helping this year!  I'm so excited to be a part... the kids this year are amazing everyone who came to pizza completed there faith foundations!  NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!  I'm stoked!  I'm excited also to be able to read and memorize again I've missed that!

A amazing lady from our small group is letting us barrow these books.  Garrett and I both have our own for men only and for woman only.  We simply get to learn about the other and what similarities we have a differences in how we think and what we care about more.  The coolest thing we have learned up to this point I think is that I (shell) think of a ton of different things at once... the example that garrett told me was that my mind is like a computer screen with lots of windows open all the time and I minimize things at times but i'm still somewhere thinking about them.  Garretts mind doesn't work like that... he only thinks of one or two things at any given time!  I can't even fathom that!!!  But it has helped us a lot to understand each other better!  I made garrett take these cheesy pictures with me!  And I LOVE it that I have a man that will do this with me!

KAA U Know!

The summer is getting close to being over!  It's gone by so quickly! So before Kamp ends we had to go out and visit KAA!  Not much has changed out there and it was great to spend some time out there!  This was our first year for both of us to not be at any Kamp with a K for the summer.

It was great to be able to stay at Uncle Deeks!  So fun!  My favorite part was being able to swing on the porch outside our room and look at the gorgeous view!  Our room was very nice too!  First night I have spent out there with Air Condition (I felt so spoiled!) The pillows on the bed were amazing and our room had so many windows... it was great!

Well today I worked at Andys from 10:30 to 5:00 and garrett worked all day too it was busy but right after work we headed to Strafford to take photos of Joal, Kelli and new precious elle kate.  Joel is Garretts cousin. These wonderful people have been very great friends of ours and we had to spend some more time with them before they move away.  After the photo shoot we went and got pizza together.

Camping in Yellville overnight

Well Garretts parents rented a cute little cabin by yellville and buffalo point were garrett and I went tent camping earlier in the year.  They invited us to come out one day so we could go on a float trip with them.  We decided to go the night before so we could be there in the morning to start our float.  That night we went to dinner at a little place called the front porch. We all got the hamburger special.

After dinner we all decided the bridge next to the restaurant was a great picture opportunity.  So here are a couple shots from that.
