An Overview of a week

We have been busy!  I've had several photo shoots the past couple weeks and garrett is stayen busy with his clients. I just wanted to write about just a couple things that have gone on in the past week.

Garrett Took me shopping at the beginning of the week and picked me out some really pretty earrings... in the photo above you can kinda see them. They are little black and silver roses with diamonds in the middle. I'm going to wear them for our anniversary shoot on Monday.  Pretty excited!  We also went and got garrett a pair of new khaki pants. He want's to wear them so bad but i'm making him wait till next week too. : )

For lunch on Monday I made spicy orange glazed shrimp with seasoned noodles and an egg roll... It was fancy... : )

While we were shopping for garrett's new khakis we got side tracked and tried on some crazy hats...

We thought we could wear them for a photo shoot and make Christmas cards... but then again we hope to be a little better looking in those.  You should be glad about that decision.  But while we were there getting side tracked again we found this really cool coat.

It's a three in one, which means it can be a wind breaker a big coat or a tighter more fitted coat.  We both really loved the color... and it's so comfy!  That night we also had to buy a new coffee maker because I blew up our old one... : (  How do I do that you might ask?  Well I did sad day I know!

Jack Jack has been here this week because his mommy and daddy are in New York!  It has been such a delite to have his cutie smile so close!  He is growing up so so so fast!  He's standing up by himself now and will walk with you if he has a finger to hold.  He has been saying "Hi, Gar" over and over.  He loves his uncle garrett!  He has been having so much fun staying at Grandma and Grandpa's house!  This picture is of Jack learning all about IT stuff with his uncle garrett's help. : )
Last night Garrett and I had a date night we went and walked at the Landing and then went to StarBucks and enjoyed some coffee and hot chocolate. I got my rings cleaned too.  It was a really relaxing and wonderful night!

Today Randi came over for a little bit.  It was so so fantastic to be able to talk a little bit with her!  She took me to Wal-mart and I got this new bedspread.  We got our queen size bed about 4 or 5 months ago but had no queen size covers... so it will be really nice to have a cover big enough for both of us this winter.  We also rearranged our bedroom again I love the new layout!  And Mr Kent has been over here nearly every night putting in a new subfloor and tiles in our bathroom... It looks fantastic!!!  We are so grateful!

Road Trip

Well it was the weekend and we woke up wondering what we would do with our Saturday.... We got an idea so we called my sister and she said it would be ok... Even though we knew mom was going to be so sad we did this.  We decided to do it... Go visit the Copelands for the weekend!  So we first went to Wal-mart and got an oil change.  Which was fun because it was beautiful outside with the fall weather and we walked to Taco Bell and got a Mt. Dew.  And then we headed down south to Arkadoo!

We concluded that it was our absolute longest Road trip we have been on together just the two of us.  The drive was really fun!  Then when we got there Lori and I made Enchiladas! After dinner we all went on a walk around the town.  And Jack like pointed at the moon and saying "moon, moon" He's precious that's for sure, his smile is just so big!

When we got home we watched a documentary and played some uno as we ate yummy ice cream.   The next morning we got to eat breakfast outside and go to church with Lori and Donnie.  It was WONDERFUL to see my sis and we really enjoyed our time with them!

Wednesdays In our Home

This morning I woke up about 8am when I heard the door open and footsteps running to the bedroom... it was garrett AND abbie!  Garrett has been working hard today. God has blessed us so much with being able to do our own business this early in our life together.

Abbie and I went to the grocery store today and she got to ride in a "car" and drive our cart around the store she was so cute!

We ate lunch with garrett we had a picnic on our porch with chips and dip and subway sandwhiches and grapes.  YUMMY stuff!  Abbie and I picked up leaves with her green toy bucket from our porch and then carried them to the other side of the yard to dump them out... Then we painted our toe nails bright pink! After garrett gets home from work we are hoping to go get some christmas gifts including getting garrett's new hoodie embroidered.   And then we are going to AWANA to listen to verses and then go to solutions. Wednesdays are busy days for us.

Today is also Daddys Birthday!  Last night we went to Famous Dave's down at the Landing for a birthday dinner.  Grandma and Grandpa Cain came to eat with us!  It was lots of fun!  I am so very very thankful for my Father!  He has been the best and most amazing example of a provider in my life!  I have been so blessed with a Godly Dad in my life!  I love that we get to live close to mom and dad and be a part of their lives!

60 Years Of Love

I have grown up watching my grandparents be in love.  They have this special look they give each other as grandma will put her hand on grandpas. At any given time you could find them kissing when you walk in a room.  I appreciate the love they have chosen to keep for each other over the past 60 years!  Their love has shaped what I desire for my relationship with Garrett.  And Inspired me to believe True love is real.

This Sunday we had the joy to celebrate Grandma and Papa's 60 year Anniversary! I made Grandma a corsage from the flowers in our garden.   We met them at Garfields down at the Landing and ate lunch. Papa drew mickey and pluto on the table cloth for us.

After we got done eating we walked down to the water and enjoyed the really nice weather.  Then we went down to North Beach Park and played a game called Left Right Center.  It was great to see them and fantastic to celebrate with them their long love for each other!

Studio Shots with my Girlies

Last Night I had my beautiful friends over and we took glamor shots in the studio.  It was fun we haven't all hung out in a while.  I am very blessed to have friends who will do crazy things like this with me.

It was super duper hot in the studio!  I'm gonna blame that on my friends not the air conditioning : )

Beautiful Day in The Ozarks

It truly is a beautiful day in the Ozarks! The sun is shining it's 58 degrees with a slight breeze and oh so beautiful... this is how I use to get woken up every morning while I was a camper at k 1. However today I really is that beautiful. Garrett and I were talking about how the cold weather reminds us of all the feelings we had of being newly weds all over again. It's amazing how much has changed in the past 10 months! God has truly had a perfect plan for our lives together all along and he has blessed us abundantly! Garrett now owns a successful business and supports regularlly many business clients as well as several loyal home clients. I have been blessed to be able to stay home and take care of our house so we can have a less stress filled life with the clothes put away and our house picked up.  I have had several shoots lately and lots of people calling which has been fun. I love editing photos!  We have found a new church home which we look forward to going to every Sunday Wednesday and Thursday!  I am so blessed that God gave me a man that wants to lead our house toward Godliness.  We both really look forward to church which has been a huge blessing we have been praying for, for years together.  We have some new friends and influences in our lives and we have gotten to know a lot of cool people.  The main thing is that God has blessed us beyond measure in the past 10 months.

Tonight we went up to Springfield and shopped out a Dish Washer we got one!  It's a World Pool Dishwasher and we don't have in at our house yet but I look forward to washing dishes in it!

Fabulous Friday

Today Aunt Val came down and helped us A TON with our accounting software. She spent hours, literally, helping us get a couple months figured out and then showed us how to stay up to date with EVERYTHING.  She brought us these really cool flowers in a vase that will grow and stay in there for "forever" they are so pretty! Especially on our kitchen table with 4 yes 4 chairs!  Aunt Val climbed all the way up in her attic to bring us more Foster chairs : )  They make us happy!
She is so sweet and we are very very thankful for her helping us out with our business so much!  She also took us to eat at our favorite place "The Panda House" : )

Then we went to the Branson homecoming Foot Ball game.  Phillip met us down there.  We won!  It was great and we enjoyed it... one of the best football games we have seen in a while. (maybe because we kinda watched it more)  It was a beautiful night out!  And my hubby looked hot in his new pullover i got him : )  We wore pirate colors too... cause we came the first game and felt so awkward because we didn't.
It was a good night I love fall!
