Being Thankful

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Garretts parents house we watched some of the thanksgiving day parade and had a huge meal in the front living room.  It was so yummy!  While we were sitting there Uncle Tom noticed out of the window that it was snowing!  Our first snow of the year!  It was beautiful too!

After lunch Kent had to go to work at SDC so we had Mrs Lori over to our house and made sugar cookies and watched a movie.  (it wasn't a great movie though)

The next day we headed up to Lebonon and had an amazing meal at grandma and grandpa H's house.  Aunt Val made all of the yummy greatness.  After lunch Garrett and I spent the night at Aunt Val's house.  She helped Garrett with some business accounting things and helped me with this gorgeous flower arrangement.

That night we watched a movie together. (which also was not great)  But the next morning we went back to Grandma and Papa's and put up there Christmas Tree.  Then we ate Taco Bell with them : )

Our First Anniversary!

Oh my goodness can you believe we have been married a year already!  We got to celebrate by going to a cabin for the night!  It was about a mile from our house... but it was a wonderful vacation for the night!  It was an amazing 3 bedroom two bath cabin with a full kitchen and a loft.  One of our favorite parts was the fireplace oh and the hot tub on the screened in back porch!  It was just so relaxing and so wonderful!!!

We watched cheeper by the dozen and ate pizza from dominoes. Which was sentimental because we ate Dominoes about 4 nights while we were on our honey moon : )

After Church the next morning we went to stake n shake for lunch. Garrett LOVES there chili : )

The G-parents

Today we went to Forsyth to eat lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Vanderpool.  We normally go to their house for lunch on Sundays but this Sunday is our anniversary so we wanted to make sure and see them before then.  They celebrated their 55th earlier this year and we have been working on a book for them. I finally got it done and and it came in the mail yesterday so we thought it would be the perfect time to meet them for lunch.

We are so blessed to have all our grandparents pretty close so we can see them more oftin than most!  We are blessed to have wonderful Families!
